Groundnut oil

Also known as Peanut oil, or Arachis oilmild-tasting is a mild tasting vegetable oil derived from peanuts. It is often used in Chinese, South Asian, and Southeast Asian cuisine, both for general cooking and in the case of roasted oil, for added flavor. Peanut oil has a high smoke point relative to many other cooking oils, so is commonly used for frying foods. Its major component fatty acids are oleic acid (46.8% as olein), linoleic acid (33.4% as linolein), and palmitic acid (10.0% as palmitin).

Millet

Millet is widely grown around the world as cereal crops or grains for fodder and human food. Millet is an important crop in the semi-arid tropics of Asia and Africa. The crop is favored due to its productivity and short growing season under dry, high-temperature conditions hence it is an important food item for the population living in the drier parts of the world, especially in eastern and central Africa, and in the northern coastal countries of western Africa. In Europe, it is mainly used for bird feed and like most African crops no chemicals are used during the production process.

SENNA PODS

Senna Pods are also known as Senna alexandrina, are collected from senna shrubs of the genus cassia where it grows wildly in the arid regions of Africa.

 It has been used for centuries in Africa and Asia as a herbal laxative and modern medicine started using its extracts since the 1950s as a laxative It is also used in pharmaceutical industries as a cathartic and emetic, also it could be used as a purgative at home by preparing what is called Senna tea.

Cotton

The cotton plant loves warmth: it needs about 200 days of sunshine in the season to flourish and bear fruit. For that reason alone, it does well in the dry or humid savannahs of Africa. The climate, with its high average temperatures and alternation between dry and wet seasons, favors the cultivation of this natural fiber crop.

It takes about six months to go from planting cotton to harvesting it. After the harvest, the seed and fiber are separated from each other in ginneries. Eventually, the raw cotton is pressed into large bales and sold on to spinning mills for yarn manufacture, where it then starts its trip along the textile chain: from the spinning mill to finished garments. Africa produces several commercial varieties of cotton.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus, Roselle, red or Indian sorrel locally known by the name of (KARKADEH) is the finest of all kinds produced in the world, for years Sudan has been the top producer and exporter.

The product is mainly exported to Europe and the Middle East, it is used in pharmaceutical industries, also a very delicious hot or cold drink with a pungent taste and lovely tang, rich in vitamin “C” could be obtained just by immersing the dry chalices into water.

The product can also be packed into bags (just like teabags) to produce what Japanese and some Europeans term “RED TEA”. Also, an instant powder can be prepared by the dry spraying process.

Sesame Seeds

We Trade in three types of Sesame:

Whitish Sesame Seeds is the dominant exportable item, it is well known for its good quality all over the world for manufacturing sweet and confectionery manufacturers in Europe, Middle East, and the Far East.

Mixed Sesame Seeds is the second grade; it differs from the whitish variety in its oil content (higher) and color as it comprises a mixture of whitish and red sesame seeds.

Red Sesame seeds contain the highest oil content.

African Sesame seeds are well known for not being chemically treated in any stage of production.

Gum Arabic

Gum Arabic, also known as acacia gum, chaar gund, char gund, or meska, is a natural gum made of hardened sap taken from two species of the acacia tree; Senegalia (Acacia) Senegal and Vachellia (Acacia) seyal. 

Gum Arabic is used primarily in the food industry as a stabilizer. It is edible and has E number E414. Gum Arabic is a key ingredient in traditional lithography and is used in printing, paint production, glue, cosmetics, and various industrial applications, including viscosity control in inks and in textile industries, although less expensive materials compete with it for many of these roles
